Our story

Love Meets Coffee CIC began with a simple belief: human connection matters.

Loneliness and isolation can affect anyone, regardless of age, background or circumstances. Sometimes supporting our wellbeing does not have to begin with something complicated.

  • It can begin with a cup of coffee or tea.
  • A conversation.
  • A little movement or music.
  • A creative activity.
  • A shared smile.
  • Or simply having someone there to listen.

Love Meets Coffee was created to provide warm, welcoming community spaces where people can come together, feel accepted and experience a greater sense of connection and belonging.

Our approach

Our approach is simple, human and inclusive.

We bring people together through conversation, creativity, movement, mindfulness and shared community experiences.

We believe in creating opportunities for connection before people reach a point of crisis, while recognising and respecting that everyone arrives with their own story and experiences.

Our activities are designed to support emotional and physical wellbeing, confidence, self-acceptance and a sense of belonging.

Love Meets Coffee is not a therapy service. We offer compassionate listening and community connection and, where further help may be needed, we encourage appropriate signposting to relevant professional and community support services.

Meet the founder

Love Meets Coffee CIC was founded by Roshani Dobson, a community wellbeing facilitator with a Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills, a licensed Zumba instructor, and experience in community wellbeing, volunteering and movement-based activities.

Her approach is grounded in the belief that people do not always need to be fixed or changed.

  • Sometimes we simply need somewhere we feel welcome.
  • Somewhere we can be heard.
  • Somewhere we can reconnect with ourselves and others.

Love Meets Coffee grew from that simple idea, creating spaces where small moments of kindness, movement, creativity and conversation can help people feel a little more connected.

Come exactly as you are.

There is no expectation of anything different before you arrive.

You might come for a coffee, a conversation, some movement, creativity, a quiet moment or simply to be around other people. You are welcome.
